I can't believe I actually had three days in a ROW off! I did have to take my car to the shop on Monday, and yesterday when I went to pick it up, I had to take a test. My GCIC/NCIC certification was about to expire, and the test is merely a formality. It's open book. Took less than an hour.
And I talked to my Sergeant yesterday. Around the end of this month, first of next month, my off-days may be changing to Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Primo if you ask me! Keeping my fingers crossed...
The reason for that is Mike is getting promoted today. I'm happy for him, but sad for me. He was my Training Officer, and is my mentor. He is going to Morning Watch.
