Allie and the Grinch:
I met my mom yesterday to retrieve some fruit I had ordered from my nephew's band fundraiser. I asked her to bring the "Grinch" for my front yard. I have decided not to put up a Christmas tree this year, so he is my only decoration.
In reflecting my mood regarding Christmas this year, I decided that I would take Allie's annualy Christmas card photo of her next to the Grinch. So I put him out in the yard, and hammered the stakes into the ground. Then I tried to call her over. She wanted NOTHING to do with it. She even slipped out of her collar trying NOT to have to sit by the Grinch. Is my dog trying to tell me something?
I have settled for a different plan of action for her Christmas card. Stay tuned.
Department Christmas Party:
We had our annual Christmas Party last night at a local restaurant. I, of course, went by myself. It was a little awkward, but it was okay, and the food was good.

Allie looks worried by the Grinch (I have a friend whose dog took a VERY long time to get used to her Betty Boop statue).
Good luck with Cynthia.
Your Hampton work is as good as always.
