Overtime....

I see where an Oprah staffer racked up 800 hours of overtime, amounting to $65,000. I did the math: The overtime rate for that is $81.25, which means that this individual makes more than $54 per hour. Crap! I wanna to go to work for Oprah!

But that got me to thinking about how much overtime I work. So far, since January 1st, I have worked nearly 500 hours of overtime. Of course, my overtime wage is nowhere NEAR the regular rate of an Oprah staffer. However, I have already made more than half of my regular salary in overtime pay.

No wonder I'm tired!
