Paris 2008

I am so excited about the prospect of returning to Paris next fall, that I've already started altering my travel journal. I found the book at Hobby Lobby for around $3. On the inside of the front cover, I've put a clear plastic pocket to hold a calling card. When AT&T bought Cingular, they sent me an international calling card that I'm saving for this trip! And the embellishment above it says, "It really didn't matter where... She just liked to Go!"

And on the last page, all I've done was add a library pocket. I have the Add-a-Page tool from the Beary Patch. BUT, with only one operational thumb, it was quite difficult to do. So the rest of those sorts of things will just have to wait a couple more weeks.

Thumb Update: It is getting better every day. My thumb is still in it's splint, but my fingers are getting better and better. I can almost type like a real person. I just prop my bandaged thumb on the keyboard tray or desk, and I can type like normal. Just got to hit the space bar with my good thumb. :-)
