I'm Ba-aak!

The past two weeks FLEW by! I'm doing okay for a one-handed person.

I took Allie to get her stitches out week before last. The mass they removed is benign, and not expected to come back. Whew!

My stitches came out yesterday, but I continue to be in a splint for 4 more weeks. This is NOT fun, I can promise that. Pain is minimal; I've been taking Tylenol during the day, and saving the stronger stuff for night-time, if needed.

I did find time to stamp, if you can imagine, I could hold the paper with my left hand fingers while cutting. About the only things I've found impossible are bra-hooking and apple-slicing. I have to get assistance, or do without - not an option with the bra. :-)

Here is a collage I did this week:
My dad's birthday falls on Father's Day this year, so I made him a card:

Inside:

And one more stamp that was begging me to use it:

Also, my moo-cards came in the mail the first week I was out:

Today, it's back-to-the-grind. There is a crapolanche in my office begging for my attention, so I guess I best get to it....

Darya, you sure do stamp beautifully with one hand! I love the image of the hands with wings. Where is that from?

You did some pretty cool stuff when you were being the lady of leisure. Love your Fathers day/Birthday card. Wanna swap some moo cards? It 's good to have you back.

Darya,
Glad to see you back on line. It just isn't the same here without you. You do great work one handed. Also, I'm glad to see that Allie's tumor was benign.

Darya, It's good to hear from you. I'm happy you and Allie are healing. Great art and cards for a one-handed artist! Well actually great for a two-handed artist. It's amazing you did it with only one!

Darya, I love your one-handed stamping! Much better than I can do with two hands!
I SO know what you mean about trying to hook a bra with only one hand. When I had a rotator cuff problem, I learned to hook the bra before I put it on and pull it over my head - I'm still doing it that way.
So glad you're back online!
