A Long Day...

Today was my off-day. I got a lot accomplished:

I made the decision to go ahead and pay my Sergeant's son to mow the grass and weed-eat. So I won't have to do it.

I got my nails done. Needed that in the worst kind of way!

I had to go get my new computer. They are installing this new software that freezes the hard-drive so that you can't save anything to it at the end of a session. Thank God Roger decided to let me have it and install my programs, like my printer and digital camera software, before he freezes mine. So I've been messing with that for a few hours tonight.

And I had my chat with the Chief. He says he never told Ray I couldn't work in there, only that he needed to get his new people up to speed and reduce all overtime. Okay, whatever! But while I was in there, he brought up his secretary. He said, "I know you don't like her..." How very perceptive! So I gave him an ear-full. He didn't exactly defend her, and he didn't turn a deaf ear to my concerns.

I had set my alarm this morning, I was gonna go do water aerobics at 9am. Didn't happen. So I decided that, since I have heard good things about the guy that teaches step-aerobics on Wednesday at 7pm, I would go do that. I have decided that it just isn't meant for me to do step. There was a substitute tonight, and so they had the girl that does the more advanced classes teach. Well... Needless to say, I am NOT advanced. But I did last 30 minutes this time. I'm gonna try one more time, and if it is crazy crap again, forget it. Meanwhile, I'm going to make more of an effort to get there on Tuesday evenings, and Wednesday mornings. And continue with Pilates on Saturday mornings.

I think you need your own computer at home so you can save anything you want. And you could store all your photos from Paris on it.

Sounds like it's life as usual.Good to hear your still exercising. I need to back to it. I've been lazy lately. I can't believe we are going to Paris next month. It's almost here.
